Veranda Hotels is a hospitality company that operates two accommodation brands in Jakarta. Veranda Hotel Pakubuwono is a four-star hotel in South Jakarta, while Veranda Serviced Residence Puri in West Jakarta offers serviced residences for both short- and long-term stays.
Both offer distinct experiences. Veranda Pakubuwono prioritizes a modern hotel experience for both business and leisure guests, while Veranda Puri provides more flexible, home-like accommodations.
When choosing accommodations, prospective guests consider more than just price and location. They also evaluate the atmosphere, room types, amenities, overall experience, and available offers before making a reservation.
Veranda Hotels needs a website ecosystem capable of showcasing the distinct characteristics of Veranda Hotel Pakubuwono and Veranda Serviced Residence Puri, while still maintaining a unified brand identity. Each journey must guide potential guests from the exploration stage to booking through the booking engine.
Primary Objective
To build a multisite ecosystem that enhances the brand experience for each property and makes it easier for prospective guests to make direct reservations.
The website serves as the starting point for prospective guests to get a feel for the hotel, compare room options, and make a reservation. On the previous website, this journey was not adequately supported by brand representation, comprehensive information, a booking system, and sufficient content channels.
The previous website design felt stiff and failed to tell a story that conveyed the quality and guest experience at Veranda.
There are no dedicated pages for each room type yet. Information about offers, dining, facilities, experiences, and activities is also not yet fully available.
The reservation UX does not yet meet guests’ needs. Room bookings are not yet supported by a booking engine, and event reservations do not yet include a direct CTA to WhatsApp.
Veranda does not yet have an article channel to share information about hotels and destinations while building organic visibility on search engines.
Grapiku redesigned verandahotels.com as a corporate site and directory linked to the websites for Veranda Hotel Pakubuwono and Veranda Serviced Residence Puri. Each property was developed with a structure and narrative that reflects the distinct character of its experience within the unified Veranda Hotels brand.
Content was expanded through dedicated pages for each room type, dining options, facilities, experiences, offers, and insights. Prospective guests can explore accommodations in greater detail before deciding on the right room, activities, or services.
For room reservations, Grapiku designed a search form as a gateway to the D-EDGE booking engine. Meanwhile, inquiries regarding weddings, meetings, and other events are directed via a WhatsApp CTA so that each prospective guest is connected to the appropriate reservation channel.
Aligning the goals of the three websites (verandahotels.com, verandahotels.com/pakubuwono, and verandahotels.com/puri), their target audiences, and lead generation needs.
Evaluate the design, information architecture, content completeness, mobile experience, technical performance, SEO, and booking process on the previous website.
Comparing the digital experiences of four-star hotels and serviced residences to identify industry standards, opportunities for differentiation, and key information that is currently unavailable.
Developing the architecture for the corporate site and property sites. The user flow is mapped from exploring rooms, amenities, offers, and events to the appropriate reservation path.
Designing the information hierarchy and layout for each page, including details on room types, dining, facilities, experiences, offers, insights, and the room search form.
Developing a warmer and more immersive visual style through photography, typography, color, and composition that reflect the experience of a four-star hotel and serviced residence.
Building a multisite ecosystem, including its components and content management. This includes managed RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) for three websites simultaneously.
Restructuring and implementing content based on the new architecture, including landing pages for each room, amenities, and links to offers. This phase runs parallel to development.
Testing multisite functionality, cross-property navigation, responsive design, booking forms, WhatsApp CTAs, performance, and browser compatibility before the entire website goes live. This is followed by migration to the production server and the main domain, verandahotels.com.

Verandahotels.com was developed as both a corporate site and a directory that connects all properties. Meanwhile, Veranda Hotel Pakubuwono and Veranda Serviced Residence Puri each have their own dedicated websites to showcase their unique character, accommodations, and guest experiences.
This structure ensures that all properties remain within the single Veranda Hotels ecosystem while still accommodating their distinct positioning and the varying needs of their guests.

The UI is designed with a more dynamic, warm, and photography-oriented visual composition. Each page not only conveys information but also showcases the ambiance of the rooms, the warmth of the service, and the experiences guests can enjoy.
Veranda Pakubuwono’s visuals highlight the character of a modern four-star hotel, while Veranda Puri offers a more comfortable and flexible residential feel.
Each room type has a dedicated page featuring a photo gallery, room size, bed options, amenities, and a description of the stay experience. Prospective guests can evaluate and compare room options before proceeding with a reservation.
This structure also transforms rooms from a simple list into individual accommodation products that can be discovered and promoted on their own.

Information is no longer focused solely on rooms. The website features pages on dining, facilities, events, experiences, activities, and offers to provide a more comprehensive view of the Veranda experience.
Related content is linked so that prospective guests can continue exploring from rooms to restaurants, activities, offers, and event planning needs.

Grapiku designed the room search form as a gateway that directs search data to the D-EDGE booking engine. Users can select a property, check-in dates, and the number of guests before proceeding with the booking process on the D-EDGE system.
For weddings, meetings, and other events, the CTA directs users directly to WhatsApp so that prospective guests can consult with the Veranda team through a more appropriate channel.

The Insights feature was developed as an article channel to discuss accommodations, amenities, activities, offers, and destinations near the hotel. Content can be published regularly to reach potential guests through organic search.
Each article can also be linked to related rooms, offers, and experiences so that the content doesn’t just serve as reading material, but also guides users toward making a reservation.
The corporate website, Veranda Hotel Pakubuwono, and Veranda Serviced Residence Puri were launched.
Consistently reaching potential guests across the entire website ecosystem on average each month.
Encourages users to explore hotel rooms, offers, and experiences for longer.
